About the Author
H.P. Folk was born and raised in the world’s greatest city, New York City. She began writing poetry as a way to process her heartbreak. She draws inspiration for her poetry primarily from love, loss, grief, mental health, nature, literature, and social issues. When she is not writing, she is filling her passport with more stamps, perfecting her baking skills and spending time with her family, friends, and chocolate lab, KC. The Caterpillar Gets Its Wings is her first poetry collection.
